Day-01: Mumbai Journey starts (16:40 hrs-Wednesday)

Your Deccan odyssey begins from Mumbai- the city of Dreams. Board the train from Chathrapati Shivaji Terminus in the evening followed by Dinner on board. An ideal tourist destination with both Gothic and modern marvels, Mumbai is also the commercial hub and capital city of Maharashtra.

Day-02: Rantagiri-Sawantwadi (8:10hrs-Thursday)

After a leisurely breakfast onboard, arrival at Ratnagiri station and drive to Ganapatipule beach resort. On arrival check-in and take time to relax before heading out for the popular adventure sports at the beach like rowboats, motorboats, aero boats, or Camel, Horse ride and other beach related activities like swimming, sun-bathing etc. Enjoy your free time at the beach followed by return to Deccan odyssey for departure to Kudal.

Detrain at Kudal to visit the heritage town of Sawantwadi. Visit the grandeur sawantwadi palace and its sublime collection of traditional goods, followed by visit to the craft village famous for handicrafts and toys. Enjoy a cultural program at the art & craft centre before being transferred to Kudal railway station for return to Deccan odyssey. Dinner onboard.

Day-03: Sindhudurg Nagari (07:30 hrs-Friday)

Breakfast onboard followed by arrival at Sindhudurg railway station and drive to Malvan jetty by A/C coach. Sightseeing tour of the town starting form a boat ride to the Sindhudurg fort, followed by visit to the local market. Post lunch, depart for Walaval village to visit the Ancient temple of Goddess Laxmi Narayan- a fine example of temple and fort architectural styles. Return to Deccan odyssey train and dinner on board.

Day-04: Goa (07:30 hrs-Saturday)

Morning arrival at Karnali Railway station and drive to Goa hotel for check-in. Later, tour of Goa by A/C coach. Blessed with an a combination of natural scenic beauty and cultural heritage, the tour of Old Goa will include Basilica of Bom Jesus, St, Cathedral church and the local museum.

Enjoy leisure time at the famous Goa beach followed by return to Royal Deccan and departure for Kohlapur. Dinner onboard.

Day-05: Kohlapur-Pune (08:00 hrs-Sunday)

A leisurely breakfast on board. Arrival at Kohlapur railway station and A/C coach drive for the sightseeing tour covering Bhawani Mandap Mahalaxmi temple and Shalini Palace. Witness the cultural dance programs before returning to Deccan odyssey. Lunch onboard, followed by arrival at Pune. Sightseeing of pune include Aga Khan palace and Phule Mandal-the old central market. Drive back to Deccan odyssey for departure to Aurangabad. Dinner onboard.

Day-06: Aurangabad (08:30 hrs-Monday)

Arrival at Aurangabad station and after breakfast on board, proceed to the city tour famous for its medieval period monuments. Visit the12th century Daulatabad fort and the famous Ellora caves- a combination of Buddhist, Jain and Hindu temples carved out of stone and built between 5th century and 10th century.

Later, transfer to the hotel for check-in and lunch. Later, visit to the Bibi- Ka- Maqbara built by Aurengzeb in memory of his wife Rabia-Ur-Durrani. Enjoy leisure time to explore the local market followed by return to Deccan odyssey for Jalgaon departure. Dinner onboard.

Day-07: Ajanta & Nashik (07:00 hrs-Tuesday)

Detrain on arrival at Jalgaon station and A/C coach visit to the famous Ajanta caves. Built in 2nd century BC, the 30 caves are mostly based on Buddhism with paintings depicting incidents form Lord Buddha’s life. Return to Deccan Odyssey for departure to Nashik with lunch onboard. Upon arrival, tour of all must-see places at Nashik which is an important pilgrimage destination of India. Places to see includes Shirdi-regarded as one of the holiest places in the country, and visits to the Pandav caves and Kala ram Mandir. Drive back to Deccan Odyssey followed by dinner onboard and drive to Mumbai.

Day-08: Mumbai (08:15 hrs-Wednesday)

Morning arrival at CST station to signal the end of your memorable journey, the memories of which will last with you forever.
