Rajasthan Forts & Palaces Enfiled Tour

Day-01: Arrive Delhi

Morning arrival at Delhi airport and meet with our representatives who will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Post lunch, a formal briefing of the journey and familiarizing with your machine- the Royal Enfield Bullet. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY-02: DELHI-SAMODE

After a hearty breakfast, discover the Capital City riding upon your Royal Enfield bike and get a first-hand experience about the manners of driving on Indian roads. Drive down Old Delhi visiting its bazaars and historical monuments like Chandni chowk, Red Fort and Jama Masjid. Evening transfer to railway station and board train to Samode. Dinner and overnight on board.

DAY-03: SAMODE

Ride around the sandy area of Samode, regarded as a center of culture and arts.

Samode: Visit the local villages to see the rural life followed by a tour of its famous Forts and Mansions. Located close to Jaipur, the popular Samode Palace belongs to the affluent noblemen known as Maha Rawals, a title that was bestowed upon them by the Royal family for their courage and loyalty. This 1400 years old monument has now been renovated and converted into a luxury hotel.

Day-04: Mandawa

Set off for the morning drive to the place also known as the ‘open air art gallery’ of Rajasthan. Arrive by lunch and transfer to the Mandawa castle. Later, walk through the narrow streets to witness the wall paintings done in the 15th century.

The Enfield caravan will drive through Shekhawati, famous for the majestic painted Havelis, richly decorated with carvings depicting rich cultural roots of the bygone age. These Havelis were built by rich merchants in such fashion that ensured privacy and safety of the women apart from protecting them from harsh weather conditions.

Day-05: Gajner

After a leisurely breakfast, mount on your bikes towards Gajner Palace, built by Maharaja Ganga Singh located alongside a lake. Post lunch, view animal and plant life along the lake or proceed to explore the palace.

Gajner Palace: Regarded as the incomparable Jewel in the Thar desert, the palace was built by the great Maharaja Ganga Singhji of Bikaner basically for the royal hunting and relaxation place. Occasional holidays for family and friends sharing similar interest were held at the palace which boasts of a healthy no. of flora and fauna including antelopes, goose, black bucks, deer and Chinkaras. The gigantic structure covers a large area with its ambiance in & around as authentic and raw as it was during royal times.

Day-06: Bikaner

Rev-up your machines for the exciting ride to Bikaner. Visit the Impressive Junagarh fort, regarded as the finest Rajput architecture and a marvelous display of artistry. Also, visit the museum inside the fort displaying rare and historic royal collection followed by a drive to the Lalgarh Fort, the red sandstone architecture. Evening return to Gajner for a cultural program followed by cocktail session.

Day-07: Jaisalmer

Set off in the morning for a long but interesting drive passing through the heart of desert Thar and arrive at Jaisalmer, also called the golden city of Rajasthan.

In the evening, a short excursion trip to the Picturesque Sam Sand dunes and stay at a desert camp. Watch the magnificent view of the sunset and enjoy the Rajasthani folk music & dance program in the evening. Overnight stay at the camp.

DAY-08: Jaisalmer

Full day tour of Jaisalmer visiting its historical palaces, forts and tourist attractions.

Jaisalmer: Regarded as the Oasis in the desert of Rajasthan, with the Desert Safari and the Royal Jaisalmer Fort being its main attractions. Morning visit to the Jaisalmer Fort, where almost half of the population still resides. Take a walk inside amidst the many shops, resorts, havelis and markets followed by tour of Tajia tower and Patwon ki Haveli.

This 80m high fort is perched atop a hill, constituting of narrow lanes, artistic Jain temples nad exquisite havelis. In the evening, a camel safari through the rural desert villages of Kanoi, Roopsi and Doojasar followed by visit to the Cenotaphs of Barabagh.

Day-09: Jodhpur

Drive to Jodhpur in the morning visiting its famous monuments like Meherangarh Fort - one of the most impressive & frequented fort in the ‘Fort-city’ of Rajasthan. Located atop a hill, the place provides a picturesque Birds-eye view of the surroundings. Later visit Jaswant Thada, the cenotaph created of white marble in 1899 in memory of the Maharadja Jaswant Singh followed by visit to Bal Samand Lake and Garden Located some 7 km. away for a short excursion trip. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day-10: ranakpur-Udaipur

Today the Enfield caravan will head south towards Udaipur, enroute halting at Ranakpur, known mainly for its 14th century Jain temples. Explore the temples clad in white marbles, dedicated to Lord Adinath, followed by a Horse ride through the Ranakpur Valley. Later, continue drive towards Udaipur and upon arrival check-in at a royal palace for overnight stay.

Day-11: Udaipur

Explore Udaipur perched upon your machines, also known as the Venice of the east. Udaipur offers the best of Rajasthan, be it Hills, lakes, forest, palaces or forts. Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola, followed by visits to the Fateh Sagar Lake, the Sajjangarh Palace and the City Palace Museum. Overnight at a Royal Udaipur Haveli.

Day-12: Deogarh

Morning drive to deogarh, another marwari village reminiscent of rajasthan, absorbing the ancient culture in all its glory. Stay at the Deogarh palace now converted into a hotel. The Mahal has some exciting rooms to see and appreciate with the Sheesh Mahal – a hall full of colorful mirrors being just one of them.

Evening visit to the famous cave temple followed by visit to the stunning viewpoint at sunset.

Day-13: Jaipur

Morning Drive to Jaipur- the Pink city and capital of Rajasthan and halt your bikes at a royal palace for check-in.

Jaipur: Explore the culturally rich city and its numerous royal Forts and Monuments. Visit the Amber Fort, famous for its ornate and artistic mastery and take a joyful elephant ride to reach to its entrance. Later, visit other famous sites including the City Palace and Jantar Mantar- a collection of ancient astronomical instruments. Overnight at the hotel.

In evening drive to Chokhi Dhani -an ethnic Rajasthani Resort where a special Dinner will be organized. Overnight stay in Jaipur Hotel

Day-14: Bharatpur

Set off on your Royal Enfield to Bharatpur where we stay at a forest resort. Post lunch, a cycle rickshaw safari into the park.

Bharatpur: Keoladeo Ghana National Park, popularly known as Bharatpur is arguably India's best bird sanctuary was given the status of National Park in the year 1981. The sanctuary also figures in the UNESCO World Heritage sites list.

The park coveres an area of 19 Sq. Km. and is home to over 350 species of migratory and resident birds. On any given day, visitors can see many rare and threatened species like the Sociable Lapwing, Indian Courser, Imperial, White-tailed, Greater and Indian Spotted Eagles, Darters, Common, Sarus and Demoiselle Cranes, Dalmatian Pelicans, Black Bittern, Dusky Eagle, Siberian Rubythroat and Brook's Leaf Warblers. A paradise for Bird lovers, it is open all through the year, though winters (Nov-Mar) are considered the best time to visit when the Palearctic migrants visit the park. Mammals like Jungle Cat, Golden Jackal, Hyena, Fishing cats and Wild Boars are also spotted here. The town also has a number of resorts and hotels for tourists like the Laxmi Vilas Palace.

Day 15: Agra

After a leisurely breakfast, ride to Agra also called the ‘Taj city’ of India and upon arrival

Transfer to the pre-booked hotel.

Agra: Visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the 7 wonders of the world and a true symbol of love. The view of Taj in the early morning is majestic, to say the least. Later, proceed to the Agra Fort, a Red- sandstone monument built by Shahjahan in 1639 A.D. as the royal residence which is now a World Heritage Site. Also explore the 15th century Jama Masjid- regarded as one of the largest Mosques in the country. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

Day-16: agra-Delhi

on the last day of your journey, ride your Royal Enfield on the long drive back to Delhi and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. After rest and freshen-up transfer to Delhi airport and board flight to your onward/return journey.
