Destinations Covered: Delhi - Sariska - Jaipur - Ranthambore - Bharatpur - Agra - Khajuraho - Varanasi - Delhi

Day 01: Delhi

Arrival at Delhi airport and meet with our representatives who shall assist & transfer you to the designated hotel. Post lunch, set out to explore the historic city starting from Old Delhi. Here we will be visiting Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk Bazaar. Later, drive to Rajpath visiting India Gate and President House before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Delhi - Sariska

After breakfast, we will drive towards Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary in Rajasthan and upon arrival check-in at a wildlife resort. Post lunch, head out for a game drive into the reserve known for its wide variety of flora & fauna. Some of the easily spotted animals are Nilgai, Chital, Chaurasingha, Sand Grouse and Rhesus Monkey. If we are lucky we may also spot a Tiger in all its glory. Diner & overnight stay will be at the resort. Check in at a hotel after which you will set out on a bird watching tour to the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Sariska – Jaipur

Morning safari into the reserve followed by a bird watching tour. The park is inhabited by a large variety of birds both resident and migratory and is a bird watchers delight. Later, we drive towards the "pink city" of Jaipur and upon arrival transfer to a royal Haveli capturing the nostalgia of the bygone age. After some relaxation, set out to explore Jaipur starting from a short excursion trip to Amber Fort. Located atop a mountain with a serene lake at its foot, you may either trek or take an elephant ride to its gate. After the eventful visit, return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 04: Jaipur - Ranthambore

Today’s first half will be spent on visiting the other popular attraction of Jaipur including Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and City Palace. You may also opt for a short trip to markets for ethnic goods and handicrafts. Evening drive to Ranthambhore national park and upon arrival transfer to a jungle lodge.

Day 05: Ranthambore

Ranthambhore is one of the most well known and frequented wildlife reserves in India. Enjoy morning and evening game drives into the reserve accompanied by an expert guide. For Tiger tracking you may opt for an elephant safari which is regarded more suitable for spotting the animal. Game drive will be followed by Nature walk and trekking expedition. A part of famed Project Tiger of India, Ranthambhore possesses over 12 species of reptiles, 272 types of birds and 350 species of trees and aquatic plants. Later, return to the lodge for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 06: Ranthambore- Bharatpur

Jeep safari into the reserve where some of the animals we may encounter are Gazelle, Chital, Nilgai, Indian Hare and Monitor Lizards. In the afternoon, we shall drive towards Bharatpur bird sanctuary and upon arrival check-in at a wildlife resort. Rest of the day free at leisure, explore the nearby villages and interact with the locals or just enjoy a relaxing massage at the resort. Dinner & overnight stay at Bharatpur.

Day 07: Ranthambore - Bharatpur

Also known as Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary, Bharatpur is regarded as India’s best wildlife sanctuary. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the sanctuary has more than 300 species of birds both resident and migratory including Indian Spotted Eagles, Darters, Black-necked, Painted and Asian Openbill Storks, Common, Sarus and Demoiselle Cranes and Dalmatian Pelicans. Some of the migratory birds come here from as far as Serbia. We shall take a rickshaw ride into the park to observe the avifauna those fond of bird photography may keep their camera handy for the innumerable opportunities. Post lunch, we shall visit the nearby villages to get insight into the basic lifestyles of the people. Dinner & overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Day 08: Bharatpur

On day 8 of the tour, we will enjoy nature walk in the park followed by a boat ride on the picturesque lake within the sanctuary. The boar ride will allow us to observe some rare species of birds from close quarters. Apart from the large variety of birds, some of the animals of the park are wild boars, golden jackal, jungle cat and fishing cat.

Day 09: Bharatpur - Agra

After breakfast drive to Agra and upon arrival check-in at a hotel. Post lunch, our expert guide will escort you to the Taj Mahal, the most famous monument of the country. This white marble clad monument of love is world renowned for its beauty, and we will be exploring Taj and other monuments located nearby. Afternoon visit to other historical sites of Agra including Jama Masjid and the Agra Fort. Dinner & overnight stay at Agra.

Day 10: Agra - Khajuraho

In time transfer to the airport and board flight to Khajuraho and upon arrival meet with our representatives who will transfer you to the hotel. Situated in Madhya Pradesh, Khajuraho is famous for its erotic temples which present a unique and artistic synthesis of Erotic arts and architectural brilliance. Khajuraho Temple A detailed tour of Easter, Western and Southern group of temples with our guide who will explain the inherent philosophy behind important and famous sculptures. These historic temples were constructed by the Chandela dynasty between 950 and 1050 AD. Overnight stay at Khajuraho.

Day 11: Khajuraho - Varanasi

Morning flight to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, one of the oldest cities of the world. An important pilgrimage destination for the Hindus and Buddhist, this sacred town with its riverfront, temples and calm ambience casts a holy spell around the visitors. It is believed that a bath in the holy river Ganga rids one from ones sins. We shall be visiting some of the famous temples and shrines followed by visit to Sarnath, the site where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. Spend a relaxed evening before retiring for the night at the hotel.

Day 12: Varanasi

Morning boat ride on the rive Ganga and watch thousands of devotees offering their morning prayer on the Ghats’. Later, visit the local markets to shopt for ethnic handicrafts and memorabilia’s followed visit to some famous attractions of Varanasi namely, Bharat Kala Mandir, Banaras Hindu University and Ramnagar Fort. Dinner & overnight stay at varanasi hotel.
